Principals Message

Dear 102nd Street Early Education Family:

I am honored to introduce myself. My name is Venus Stovall, and I am the proud principal of the amazing 102nd Street Early Education Center. I have been in the field of education for 22 years. I began my career as an elementary school teacher, Literacy Coach, Intervention Coordinator, Categorical Program Advisor/Targeted Student Population Advisor, Assistant Principal, and currently Principal. I have a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Policies and Leadership Studies. Additionally, I hold a Preschool through Twelfth Grade Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an Administrative Services Credential.

I am enthusiastic and prepared to contribute my leadership to our Early Childhood Center. My mission and vision as an educational leader is to provide a safe place for all children to learn, grow, and develop their full potential. I aim to provide a place where all children will be able to learn foundational skills to be ready for kindergarten and beyond.

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to support the efforts of dedicated teachers and staff as we collaboratively work with you to provide a high-quality education for your child.  I am grateful and honored to work with preschool children, our youngest students in LAUSD.

At 102nd Street Early Education Center, our vision is to inspire a passion for learning. Our primary focus is our students’ growth and achievement. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of every child that walks through our doors. We pride ourselves on working closely with families to create an exceptional learning environment for our students.

Sincerely,

Venus Stovall

Proud Principal
